Creadora y docente nacida en Inglaterra y afincada en Barcelona, donde reside con sus dos hijas y sus dos gatos.
Alma creativa apasionada por la acuarela y el arte abstracto, actualmente está inmersa en un proceso de evolución y descubrimiento de la pintura abstracta utilizando como medios principales el acrílico y los pigmentos naturales sobre tela.
Encuentra inspiración en todo lo que la mueve a través del color y la textura. Desde un mueble antiguo hasta unos guijarros en la playa. Desde un bolardo oxidado hasta un montón de hojas caídas en el suelo.
Su pasión es compartir su conocimiento y su creatividad con pequeños y mayores en talleres tanto presenciales como virtuales.
Su actividad como docente está en un momento de expansión y evolución con retos importantes a la vista.
Creator and teacher born in England and based in Barcelona, where she lives with her two daughters and their two cats.
A creative soul passionate about watercolor and abstract art, she is currently immersed in a process of evolution and discovery of abstract painting using acrylic and natural pigments on canvas as the main media.
She finds inspiration in everything that moves her through color and texture. From an old piece of furniture to some pebbles on the beach. From a rusty bollard to a pile of fallen leaves on the ground.
Her passion is sharing her knowledge and creativity with children and adults in both face-to-face and virtual workshops. Her activity as a teacher is in a moment of expansion and evolution with important challenges in sight.
Kristina del Baño
Nacida en Barcelona, artista visual con formación multidisciplinar.
Como ilustradora de libros infantiles, ha trabajado para muchas editoriales juveniles en España y sus libros han sido publicados en diferentes países.
Apasionada por el color y la textura, cuenta con más de diez años de experiencia en el mundo textil, para el cual ha diseñado colecciones de estampados que han sido producidos y vendidos internacionalmente.
Al mismo tiempo, su trabajo artístico está en constante evolución con una curiosidad que la lleva a trabajar con diferentes soportes como el hierro forjado, el grabado, la pintura y la cerámica y actualmente trabaja principalmente sobre papel en series de pequeño formato y tela de gran formato.
Siempre en busca de la conexión entre los colores de la naturaleza y sus propios sentimientos, la improvisación, la sorpresa, la imperfección, el descubrimiento y la magia dan sentido a sus investigaciones y la empujan a trabajar desarrollando su serie de mariposas e insectos y paisajes abstractos.
Born in Barcelona, a visual artist with multidisciplinary training.
As an illustrator of children's books, she has worked for many youth publishers in Spain and her books have been published in different countries.
Passionate about color and texture, she has more than ten years of experience in the textile world, for which she has designed collections of prints that have been produced and sold internationally.
At the same time, her artistic work is constantly evolving with a curiosity that leads her to work with different supports such as wrought iron, engraving, painting, and ceramics, and she currently works mainly on paper in small-format series and large-format canvas.
Always in search of the connection between the colors of nature and her own feelings, improvisation, surprise, imperfection, discovery, and magic give meaning to her research and push her to work developing her series of butterflies and insects and abstract landscapes.

Qué esperar del viaje
Miércoles Llegaremos a Isle, haremos el check-in. Nos instalaremos y haremos una cena de bienvenida, lo que nos dará la oportunidad de empezar a conocernos.
Jueves Desayuno provenzal. Paseo hasta el centro donde empezaremos el primero de los 3 talleres en el interior. Estaremos en el espacio Vous, acogedor atelier y espacio de exposiciones. Os haremos una presentación de quienes somos, de la dinámica de los talleres y también de las visitas programadas. Será un día intenso de trabajo.
Viernes Desayuno, taller y el resto del día lo pasaremos en Isle, conociendo sus calles, sus tiendas, los espacios de brocantes y anticuarios y algún museo.
Sábado Es el día en el que nos vamos de visita a Gordes y Menerbes, dos pueblos preciosos a una media hora en coche de Isle. El traslado lo haremos en mini bus.
Domingo Día de despedida, después de nuestro último desayuno provenzal. También es el día de la semana en el que coinciden el mercado local con el mercado de brocantes. Os recomendamos que lo visitéis antes de regresar a casa.
What to expect of the trip
Wednesday We will arrive at Isle and check-in. After settling in we will have a welcome dinner which will give us the opportunity to start getting to know each other.
Thursday Provenzal breakfast. Walk to the center of the village where we will start the first of 3 indoor workshops. We will be in Vous, a cosy atelier and exhibition space. We will give you a presentation of who we are, the dynamics of the workshops and also the scheduled visits. It will be an intense day of work.
Friday Breakfast, workshop and the rest of the day we will spend in Isle, getting to know its streets, its shops, the brocantes and antique shops and museums.
Saturday It’s the day we go to visit Gordes and Menerbes, two beautiful villages half an hour by car from Isle. The transfer will be done by mini bus.
Sunday Farewell day, after our last Provencal breakfast. It is also the day of the week in which the local market coincides with the brocantes market. We recommend that you visit this market before returning home.
